Blog Readers, Another Word on DEPENDABLE Webhosts.

Hi Blog Readers,

Remember a few days ago when I told you about the
disastrous loss of my entire mailing li.st. Well that’s
not the only reason that I reccommend you get yourself a
reliable host such as Third Sphere. Here’s another
situation I ran into that you can avoid just by learning
from my mistake.

In about November of 2006, I decided that I had too many
websites placed on too many hosts and I wanted everything to
be in one place.

So I decided to move all of my websites to my own Virtual
Private Server. After the headache of shopping for all the
features and specs I need, the bigger headache of moving
11 websites had to happen.

After is was all said and done, all of my sites ran a lot
slower, and the downtime was awful. I would have all sorts
of problems with running scripts, FTP, email and more. It
was such a mess that I moved immediately back to Third
Sphere Hosting and swore I would ne.ver leave them again.

Furthermore the whole time I spent over at the other host
Third Sphere had been updating their mailing servers and
adding SPF records to each account. You may not know what
SPF records are but they really help get your emails into
the inbox instead of the spam folder or trash can.

My deliverability with the other guys plummeted to almost
nothing. It was really heart breaking and almost business
breaking. So I gladly moved back to Third Sphere and am so
happy to report that I haven’t had a glitch yet.

Third Sphere is completely thought out from the mind frame
of an Internet Marketer. Besides having the whole suite of
business tools, which I haven’t even said anything about,
(you can read more on their site) they are absolutely the
most reliable, dependable solid host I have used in 9 years
on the Internet.

They are simply to reliable a host and they have top notch
customer service.

I guess all I’m trying to say Blog Readers, is that if you
are going to do something, do it right the first time you
do it and you won’t have to do it again.

Third Sphere was built for people who do Internet Marketing
so you know you won’t go wrong if you choose to host with
them.

I have arranged for you to get a fr.ee month with them to
see yourself how good they are. If after your fr.ee month
you don’t like them for any reason, just cancel!

ne.ver hurts to take a look at what you are getting in

comparisonto what you could be getting.

Blog Readers, A Word on A PROFESSIONAL Looking Website.

Hi Blog Readers,

Today I want to show you something that is such a minor detail
but can have a major impact on your website. It’s the look of
your website.

Take a look at this website.
http://www.thehappyguy.com/daily-happiness-free-ezine.html

Now take a look at this website.
http://www.marketingchick.com

Can you spot the difference Blog Readers? I am sure it’s real
easy to do.

You see having a website that has a professional look to it just
appeals to the visitor more. Really, it’s the first thing that
the visitor will make an impression of you based on.

If you are going to run yo.ur own ezine and want people to
subscribe, don’t you want them to like what they see first?
I know I would!

So many people have great content ezines but their website looks
like it could use a bit of work.

But professional websites are so costly right? Nope.

Even my site, www.GuruMarketer.com has a purchased website
template. I am no webdesigner but I do know the importance of
having a good looking website.

So how can you get your hands on a super duper looking website
for just pennies on the design dollar?

Well, here are my 2 favorite sites where I do all of my shopping
for professional looking website templates!

4 Templates – Browse by category, cheap prices.

AOL Here

Template Monster – Designer templates.
http://gurumarketer.com/cgi-bin/arp3/aff-t.pl?l=4
AOL Here

These places are as easy as looking through the growing database
of website templates, categorized I might add, and picking the one
you like the best.

All you have to do after that is upload it to yo.ur own website,
add yo.ur own content, and PRESTO! You’ve got yourself a hot
looking new website that people will take you seriously with!

Hope you enjoy Blog Readers, that’s all for now!

Ian Herculson

PS. Even if you don’t have a website right now, make sure to
take a look at any of those pages and bookmark them cause I gotta
funny feeling your going to be getting a website real soon!

Blog Readers, A Word on DOMESTICALLY Hosted Autoresponders.

Hi Blog Reader,

I have been doing Internet Business for about 9 years now.
I can honestly tell you that the most important thing I ever
did in my whole 9 years of running my own Internet business
was purchasing an autoresponder.

Actually to be honest, I have purchased many different types
of autoresponders. I have probably owned them all at one.time
or another. So I know how important it is to have a good
dependable autoresponder.

I am not going to tell you all the benefits of owning an
autoresponder. That would take up to much of both our time.

I am simply going to tell you about the two different types
of autoresponders and the advantages and disadvantages to both
types. That way you can decide for yourself which type is
right for you and your situation.

There are basically only two options you will have to choose
from when picking an autoresponder.

1. Remotely Hosted – Hosted on someone elses site.
2. Domestically Hosted – Hosted on yo.ur own website.

Just so you know, I actually do own both types of
autoresponders, but the majority of my work comes from my own
domestically hosted autoresponder so today I’m going to tell
you all about ‘Domestically Hosted’ autoresponders.

I’m going to start by telling you the bad parts about owning
yo.ur own autoresponder because simply there’s less to tell.

The absolute worst part is the deliverability issue. As you
may or may not already know, getting your email delivered is
becoming harder and harder all the time with all the new spam
filters and protections in place.

With owning yo.ur own autoresponder, you will have to learn
how to make sure your messages are being delivered on yo.ur own.
You’ll have to learn about things like SPF Records, and White
Listing and things like that. Google them if you don’t really
know about them but want to.

There are companies you can hire to help with that however
who do a great job of making sure your emails are getting
delivered from yo.ur own domain. Just do a Google search for
‘email deliverability’.

Also, hosting with the right webhost also helps! You know
who I’m talking about right? ;o)

The only other thing that poses any sort of problem is
getting your software installed and working on your website.
But usually, installations can be done for relatively cheap
by the company you purchase from. So that’s not really a
huge issue.

Now here’s a whole li.st of reasons why I like owning my own
autoresponder.

Importability.
Having the ability to import subscribers into your list is
something many Internet Marketers love. You cannot do this
with a lot of remotely hosted companies due to spam reasons.

Customization.
Another advantage that I personally like to take advantage
of with my own autoresponder is the fact that because it
resides on my server, I can customize it to do special
things unique to my business. If I were remotely hosted
I could not do that…I’d have to work by their rules!

Cost Effective.
Remotely hosted autoresponder services usually are set up on
a monthly fee which in the long run can cost you a lot more
money than owning yo.ur own software.

Feature Rich.
The particular brand of autoresponder I reccommend has a
50 page book of features and how to use them. Don’t be
scared, you’ll learn it very quickly. Remotely hosted
autoresponders don’t have quite as many features which will
become handy later on when you’re a pro.

So what autoresponder do I use, and personally reccommend?

Auto Response Plus or ARP3 for short. It’s designed by a
gentleman by the name of Neil Morgan who I have had a good
relationship with the whole way of owning the software.

This bad boy you download and install right onto yo.ur own
server and the installation is quite simple as long as you
have some knowledge of FTP and following instructions.

If you need, you can get a copy installed for under $50
from the developer. It has a li.st of features that
honesltly takes over 50 pages to explain. But don’t let a
long manual scare you.

This baby is super easy to set up and even easier to run.
The support manual is about 80 pages but is so easy to
read and understand you’ll be blown away.

I’ve been using ARP3 for over 7 years now and I don’t
think I’ll ever change that.

Here is their link Blog Readers.

Oh and by the way, Third Sphere and AutoResponse Plus
both work together to have the autoresponder work
flawlessly on Third Sphere servers. If you purchase a
copy of Auto Response PLus, they’ll reccommend that you
use Third Sphere as a host.

Here’s that fr.ee month link for Third Sphere again
just in case you need it!

That’s it for now Blog Reader.

PS. In two days I’ll send you the email that explains
all about ‘remotely hosted’ autoresponders and why you
may want to consider getting one of those instead!

Blog Readers, A Word on REMOTELY Hosted Autoresponders.

Hi Blog Readers,

I hope you remember all the advantages and disadvantages to
owning a domestically hosted autoresponder on your own website.

Today I’m going to tell you all about ‘Remotely Hosted’
autoresponders, which is hosted by a company on their own
server.

Remote hosting has a fairly low start up cost. Typically
you can sign up for a top notch hosting service and only
have to shell out your first monthly payment to get started.
This will get you going right away!

But you have to factor in that since it is in fact a monthly
fee, that over time it will cost you more. So getting your
own autoresponder may cost more up front, but once it’s
yours, it’s yours always.

The advantages however to having a remotely hosted
autoresponder service just may just make up for the
difference.

With the right type of remotely hosted service, you don’t
just get your autoresponder. You also get customer service
and here’s the real kicker…deliverability rates are often
higher with remote sites.

With all the spam filters and protection against spam these
days, it’s getting harder and harder to make sure your
messages are being delivered to your customers.

But remotely hosted companies know this and they do every
thing they can to keep good relationships with all the major
ISP’s in order to make sure ‘your’ emails are being delivered.

So there are many things to think about before you purchase
your first autoresponder system.

Aweber Service
This is a remotely hosted service and has the best overall
deliverability of any service. They are competitively priced
and have amazing customer support. If you want remotely
hosted service…this is by far and away your best bet.

They even have a demo that you can use just so you get a
feel of how it works. Go check it out!

Here’s the link to take a fr.ee test drive of their system!

Blog Readers, A Word on GETTING SUBSCRIBERS To Subscribe.

Hey Blog Readers,

Well having a good newsletter is completely useless if no one
is reading it. So you are going to have to learn how to get
people to subscribe to your ezine.

I want to tell you what tricks that I use to keep the number
of double opt-ins higher than what most newsletter publishers can.

Firstly, to even get the subscribers, I of.fer fr.ee items for
people to download. And I don’t just of.fer any old thing. I
of.fer items that are hard to find, or can only be given away
by me.

That way I know that when they see my fr.ee give away off.er they
probably don’t already have what I am giving away and are more
willing to subscribe to my newsletter.

Right now, along with the huge ecourse on setting up your own
Internet Marketing business & Affiliate Marketing Methods, I am
also currently giving away the following items to anyone who
subscribes to my ezine.

1.) Fr.ee one year membership into www.TheBigEzineDirectory.com
This one is super because I actually own that website and I
am certain that if anyone has a fr.ee membership, that they
got it from me.
A $97 value.

2.) Fre.e copy of my own TheOp.tInStrategy.com ebook.
Another great give away. I teach all my methods of Op.t In
Li.st Building for fr.ee! It’s a gem to give away.

3.) Fr.ee copy of Yanik Silver’s Greatest Marketing Secrets.
This one is valuable to potential subscribers because of who
wrote the ebook. Every.one should know Yanik Silver’s name.
He’s one of the best internet marketers out there.
A $19.97 value.

You can see one of these give-away pages by clicking on this
link;

http://www.thebigezinedirectory.com/free.php
AOL Here

You’ll notice that I use a webform to capture the email address
of the person who is applying for the fre.e bonus. There is a
super reason why I do that.

It is to keep that person from stealing the fr.ee bonus by signing
up with a bogus email address. After a person subscribes to my
newsletter to receive the fr.ee bonus, they are taken to a thanks
page instead of the download page right away.

Then a confirmation email is sent to the email address that was
inputted into the form which verifies, with the subscriber, if
the email is the right one or not.

Once they cli.ck the link, they are double-opted in and are then
taken to the download page to claim their fr.ee bonus.

You see Blog Readers, I don’t give them a chance to even look at
my bonus page until they have double-opted in.

That’s how I keep my double opt-ins coming and how I know that my
li.st is made up of 100% real working email addresses. Which in
turn results in far higher cli.ck-through ratios for anything I
send to my li.st.

Now I also told you that I would give you a tool to use to help
you grow yo.ur own op.t in email li.st.

It’s actually an ebook that I wrote when I lost my li.st and then
recovered it so quickly. Within one month, I had actually gotten
my subscriber count back to 2250 people and I ma.de $1500 while
I did it.

“The Op.t In Strategy”, is about how I did that.

And now, since you are a subscriber to my ezine, you can have
a fr.ee copy of that ebook, and you can also give it away as a gift
to anyone who subscribes to your li.st.

Follow this link;

http://www.TheOptInStrategy.com
AOL Here

That’s all for now, Blog Readers.

Ian Herculson

PS. I also have a few tricks that I am using to keep the number
of double opt-ins up there.

And I’ll even tell you exactly how I do it and even give you,
yes for fr.ee, the exact same tools that I use to not only
get the subscribers, but keep them as well.

I’ll send you that information in two days. I wouldn’t want
you to get information overload!
