Blog Readers, A Word on Getting HIGH QUALITY Subscribers.
Hi Blog Readers,
You’ve already read all about ‘the big crash’ on my old
webhost that resulted in the loss of my whole li.st of 18300
subscribers. Bad stuff happens to every.one once in a while.
But there is always a silver lining if you look hard enough.
I am happy to report that GuruMarketer.com is still alive
and actually back to over 20,000 subscribers!
That may not sound like a whole lot but let me let you in on
an astounding secret that I came across Blog Readers…
Already I am acheiving higher cli.ck-through ratios on all my
messages than I ever dreamed was possible.
Just in case you don’t know, a cli.ck-through ratio is simply
a number that expresses how many people per 100 clicked on
any given link.
On average, a good newsletter will have cli.ck-through ratios
of about 3%. That’s 3 per 100. A super ratio would be about
10%, 10 per 100.
But I am acheiving cli.ck through ratios as high as 40%!
And I’ll even tell you exactly what it is that I changed to
do it that most marketers are too afraid to do.
That’s use the ‘double op.t in’ feature. That just means
people have to subscribe to my li.st, then confirm that they
want to be on my li.st.
Many marketers are afraid to do this because the amount of
people that would potentially subscribe goes down.
But 100 double op.t in subscribers are worth more than 1000
single op.t in subscribers. And my cli.ck-through ratios are
absolute proof of that. That’s also why if you have ever
purchased subscribers, you’ll know that double op.t in are
more costly.
